The Lisbon Community School District and the Springville Community School District share a full time superintendent 50/50.  The position of Superintendent will be available on July 1, 2022.  There are approximately 15 miles between school districts.

The Lisbon Community School District has a PreK-6 Elementary School and a 7-12 Secondary School all located in Lisbon, Iowa.  The district hosts and alternative school program for high school students.  The district also provides a year round early childhood program that offers services from infants to 4 years of age.  The superintendent also oversees the Lisbon Early Childhood Center. 


In 2018, the District passed a $9.2 million dollar bond issue to provide improvements to the Secondary.  Those improvements included classroom renovations, a new auditorium and track, and new entrance.  The Lisbon Community School District serves approximately 673 students and their mascot is the Lion.

Springville operates a PreK-6 Elementary School and a 7-12 Secondary School.  The district serves approximately 420 students and boasts a 13:1 Student/Teacher Ratio.  The Springville Community School District’s mascot is the Oriole.
