The Roland-Story Community School District is actively seeking a Shared HR Director!

This is a shared role in which you will spend 50% of your time with the Roland-Story Community School District and 50% with the South Hamilton Community School District in Jewell, IA. Although you will split time between both districts, your contract of employment will be held by Roland-Story.

As our Shared HR Director, you will support the district office operations for each district, helping with payroll, employee benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and much more! You will enjoy...

  • A 260-day contract
  • Starting salary of $50,000 - $52,000


Roland and Story City are located 15 minutes north of Ames and 40 minutes north of Des Moines, just off Interstate 35. Nestled in the Iowa heartland, Roland and Story City are safe, attractive, and vibrant communities that embrace their small-town character. Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Other Qualifications

  • Human Resource experience
  • Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Iowa employment law, preferred
